Mouse Telemetry Equipment Configuration and Setup
The Mouse Telemetry System consists of the implantable mouse biopotential telemeter (MT10B), a tBase (wireless power source and digital receiver in one device) and a Configurator System for laboratory setup.
The system operates on independent transmission frequencies, allowing for simultaneous recording of biopotential signals in up to 40 mice in a single room without the need for shielding or special equipment.
Mouse Telemetry System Components
Mouse Biopotential Telemeter (MT10B)
- Sampling rate up to 2 kHz — the highest sampling rate available for chronic mouse telemetry studies
- Unique contoured shape for smoother subcutaneous implantation
- Single-use design shipped sterile and ready for implantation adding to study efficiency
tBase (MT110)
- Receives data and powers mouse telemeters up to a 7 cm vertical distance from the tBase.
- Optimized to fit standard mouse cages up to European standard type II long cages — no special caging required.
- Provides easy visual representation of when data has been collected
- Delivers an index of animal activity
Configurator System (TR190 and ConfigSoft)
- Provides the ability to use the data acquisition system of your choice via analog outputs
- Allocates and pairs telemeters and tBases to one of 40 distinct data collection channels — data can be collected from up to 40 telemetered animals in one room at the same time.
- Controls all telemetry equipment in a laboratory — only one Configurator needed regardless of study size
