The Just for Mice™ Stereotaxic Instrument was specifically developed for research using knock-out and transgenic mice. This innovative instrument allows the researcher to hold and prepare two mice, or neonatal rats, at the same time. This instrument was built especially for mice and offers several advantages over adaptation of “made for rat” instruments.

The Just for Mouse™ Stereotaxic Instrument was specifically designed for use with knock-out and transgenic mice. It is our smallest and most economic Stereotaxic instrument. The Dual Arm Just for Mouse™ Stereotaxic Instrument can decrease surgery times and help reduce potential time-consuming errors. A second manipulator arm is convenient, if not mandatory, in applications such as dual injections, bilateral cannulations, simultaneous stimulation and recording, etc.
- Lab Standard with Mouse & Neonatal Rat Adaptor
Using model organisms with soft skulls, such as the mouse and the neonatal rat, are difficult to secure firmly in a traditional stereotaxic instrument. Stoelting’s Mouse/Neonatal Rat Adaptor is designed for use with the traditional ‘U’ frame Stereotaxic instrument. The adaptor employs light, Delrin Ear Bars with tapered points on one end, and rubber tips on the other, to facilitate surgery on mice and rat pups.

Our Mouse Stereotaxic Instrument is specifically designed for use with knock-out and transgenic mice. Digital models offer greater speed of operation and increased accuracy. Fit with an easy-to-read, touchscreen digital display and sealed electronic sensors operation of the instrument is easy and precise. Simply move your probe to an established reference point (e.g. Bregma), zero the touchscreen LED display and move to the desired coordinates.

- Ultra Precise Mouse Stereotaxic Instruments
Our Mouse specific Stereotaxic Instruments were specifically designed for use with knock-out and transgenic mice. The Ultra-Precise version of these stereotaxics make them ideal for use in stereotaxic surgery where high-accuracy positioning is required. Up to 80mm of travel is available in all directions with up to 90° angle adjustment in either the anterior-posterior or medial-lateral planes.
