- Non-Heated Operating Tables
The non-heated operating tables (size 1 for mice and size 5 for other rodents) are recommended only for necropsy studies or short term anesthetized animal experiments such as procedures calling for the removal of isolated organs or tissues. These models are not upgradeable to heated versions. For general surgical work, please see heated or homeothermic models.
- Three different versions available: tripod, flat angled or flat bottom base
- Non-heated
- Includes 4 paw holders
- Capable of receiving thorax retractors and mounting ball joint holders
- Heated Fixed Temperature Operating Tables
The heated fixed temperature operating tables (size 1 for mice and size 5 for rodents) have a built-in heating transformer and temperature probe to ensure the temperature of the table is maintained.
Two different versions of the heated operating table are available depending on the level of temperature control required. These models are often used for quick surgical procedures or acute animal studies (30 minutes or less) requiring the core temperature of the animal be maintained but not tightly controlled.
- Two different mounting bases available: tripod base or flat angled base
- Choice of heating power supply or heating controller
- Includes 4 paw holders
- Capable of receiving thorax retractors and mounting ball joint holders
- Homeothermic Controlled Operating Tables
Homeothermic Controlled Operating Tables (size 1 for mice and size 5 for rodents) have a heating, homeothermic temperature controller and consist of three parts: a probe, a control unit, and an adaptor box.The control temperature is preset at 37°C at the factory, but can be adjusted from 35° to 40°C by means of a control on the front panel.
- Three different mounting bases available: tripod, flat angled or flat bottom base
- Choice of heating power supply or heating controller
- Includes 4 paw holders
- Capable of receiving thorax retractors and mounting ball joint holders
- Heated Small Animal Operating Table
This operating table is ideal for general surgical work on small animals. The top is a flat, heavy gauge, biologically inert piece of stainless steel measuring 23 x 33 cm (9 x 13 in).
A warming chamber located beneath this top contains a small metal sheathed 40 watt heater controlled by an energy regulator. An energy regulator controls the table top surface, varying the heating cycle when necessary.
- Tilting Small Animal Operating Tables
Tilting one-piece molded operating tables for general surgical work hold rodents and other small animals during surgery. They provide excellent access to the entire length of the animal. Four slots are positioned in the corners of the platform, allowing animals to be held firmly in place. The platform has grooves running both its length and width for drainage or placement of the flushing line during surgery. The tables are mounted on a traditional tripod stand allowing the platform to easily tilt in various directions. Non-slip feet insure a stable position during the whole surgery process.
- Non-absorbent surface
- Holds for easier fixation of animal’s extremities
- Tilting platform
- Homeothermic model available, with optional temperature control unit
- Rodent Operating Board
- Plastic Operating Boards
These one-piece molded boards hold rodents and other small animals during surgery. A quick-release system of restraint cords and locking cleats quickly and easily attach the animal to the board.
- Provide excellent access to the entire length of the animal
- Available for rabbits, small rodents and large rodents
- Accessories for Size 1 and Size 5 Operating Tables
